Hyderabad, July 04: The TRS chief has said he was not attaching any significance to the fresh statement of the Union Home Minister Mr. Chidambaram on Telangana. On the minister’s statement that the situation has not gone out of hands, Rao said the Congress MLAs and MPs had resigned only because the situation had slipped out of hands.
Demanding that the centre should stick to its December 9 announcement, he said the JAC would take several key decisions to intensify the stir soon. Stating that the people of Telangana had observed restraint so far, he has warned that when they loose their patience, Telangana would turn into a ball of fire.
He has warned the Seemandhra leaders to refrain from ‘bringing split among the people of Telangana.’ He said if they persist, the 1969 situation would recur.
