Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today held a review meeting with officials concerned on the ambitious project of Telangana Water Grid. Ministers T Harish Rao, K Taraka Ramarao were present at the meeting.
The Chief Minister is learnt to have directed the officials to expedite the exercise on the project. KCR also asked the officials to go in for a speedy action on the project as there is no dearth of funds. An action plan, budget needed, pressing the teams at field level and taking up works were the issues touched upon at the meeting. The project is aimed at providing safe drinking water to every household in 10 districts of Telangana State. (NSS)
