KCR health stable; cooperating with doctors: DME

Hyderabad, December 06: Director of Medical Education (DME) Ravi Raj today said Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR) was cooperating with the doctors who were providing medical assistance to him at Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) here.

Allaying fears about KCR’s health condition, which triggered violence in the late afternoon, Dr Raj said KCR condition is stable, though weak over 7-days of fasting. His vital clinical parametres including pulse rates, blood pressure, head condition and temperature were in normal limits, he said.

There was no ketones in his urine and explained it saying the condition of every individual is different like KCR whose samples of urnine earlier in the day showed better improverment because of the medication.

”We have taken samples again at 2200 hours and the results will available in the morning tomorrow” he said.

A team of senior doctors along with his personal physician Dr M Rao were overseeing the treatment at the IICU where KCR was shifted this afternoon.
