Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao has described Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao as a great engineer.
Speaking after distributing appointment letters among the selected Assistant Engineers in Civil and Mechanical Departments in Zone 5 & 6 here on Friday, Harish Rao praised the Chief Minister for his vision in engineering. He said that the Chief Minister himself has re-designed irrigation projects to irrigate about one lakh acres of land. He said this task should have been performed by the engineers. However, he said it was KCR who took up the task of re-designing the projects.
Harish Rao informed that the State Government has initiated the process to fill 40,000 vacancies. He said Appointment Letters have been given to Assistant Engineers for 112 Civil and 12 Mechanical posts in Zone 5 and 106 Civil and 12 Mechanical posts in Zone 6.(INN)
