The Telangana State government has decided to write to the Krishna River Waters Management Board expressing its dissatisfaction over its functioning.
Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao held a meeting with officials of Irrigation department and discussed the issues concerning the Krishna River waters.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Harish Rao said the government has decided to express its protest before the Board. He said the Telangana government would request the Board not to take any decision over Krishna waters without holding a meeting with the all concerned. The government also would request the Board chairman to convene a meeting at the earliest. (NSS)
