Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced that his government will organize Godavari River Pushkarams in a prestigious manner.
Responding to a question by MLA Prashanth Reddy in the Assembly on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said the government was examining the issue of selection of places to organize Pushkarams and allotment of funds. As of now, Pochampad and Thadapakal are ready for the Pushkaras and there is a proposal to construct Pushkar Ghats at Sarel and Gumarial, he said, adding the Government also examining Domachand Ghat for the Pushkarams.
