KCR govt miserably failed on all fronts: Kodandaram

Hoisting national flag at the TJAC office on the occasion of State formation day on Friday, Prof M Kodandaram lamented that the present government was not functioning to the great expectations of Telangana people.

Speaking on the occasion, Kodandaram said the unemployment problem, lack of minimum support price to farmers and shocking land scams are the best examples of the State government’s failures. Besides, the TRS government was trying to suppress the democratic aspirations of the people, he observed. He made it clear that the JAC would strive to protect the aspirations of the Telangana movement. The government was not allowing the people’s organisations to hold meetings on public issues, he said.

Earlier, Prof. Kodandaram paid tributes to martyrs at Gun Park. He asked the State government to construct a memorial for the martyrs of final phase of Telangana movement. He demanded that the State government extend help to Telangana agitators, who received injuries during Mankota incident and became disabled.  (NSS)
