Karimnagar, July 25: Senior Congress leader Gone Prakash Rao on Saturday charged Telangana Rashtra Samithi president of trying to win the by-elections by spending the money he had earned by rousing the Telangana sentiment among people.
Addressing a public rally, Mr Gone Prakash thundered that the TRS chief is repeatedly forcing elections on the people for personal gains.
He said that the by-elections have no link with the separate Telangana statehood issue since KCR forced his party MLAs to resign for his own benefits.
The senior Congress leader pointed out that KCR had gone back on his promises made on the eve of the last general elections, and added that it is time that the people of Telangana saw through his selfish motives and taught him a lesson.
