Alleging that the Chief Minister KCR was criticizing the TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy with a feeling of insecurity, TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi has said that the Chief Minister was seeing one lakh people in N Uttam Kumar Reddy.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Mallu Ravi alleged that the Chief Minister was wasting public money in the name of redesigning of irrigation projects. There was no cabinet rule in the state, but only four people of KCR’s family were ruling the state, he claimed and made it clear that the fight against the government will not be stopped even if one crore KCRs come, till the farmers meets with justice. (It may be recalled that KCR had said that even one lakh Uttam Kumar Reddys could not stop the Kaleswaram Project).
Making it clear that the Congress party and Uttam Kumar Reddy were in favour of projects, Ravi alleged that the TRS government was not completing the projects already completed to the extent of 80 to 90 percent by the previous Congress party government. The Congress party spent Rs.6000 crores on Pranahitha-Chevella project, but the TRS government has taken up works now after redesigning the project.
He reminded that Uttam has waged fight against G.O issued on land acquisition and also against fees re-imbursement, and also made the government to pay adequate compensation to the land losers of Pulichinthala project. He said that the Congress party was ready for an open debate on the issue and said that the land oustees were happy now. (NSS)
