KCR is fearing a coup in TRS, claims Revanth Reddy

TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy on Thursday claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is fearing a major coup within the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Speaking to media persons here, Revanth Reddy said that several TRS leaders were unhappy with KCR’s style of functioning. Some MLAs, who are with the TRS since beginning and denied a berth in the State cabinet, are angry with KCR for admitting rebels like Tummala Nageshwara Rao and Talasani Srinivas Yadav. These legislators and other leaders are planning a major coup to dethrone KCR from power. For the same reason, KCR is focusing more on strengthening the party than running the government, he alleged.

Revanth Reddy also accused KCR of encouraging land mafia in Hyderabad. He clarified that no decision was taken on regularisation of encroachments on government lands during the all-party meeting. However, by holding two all-party meetings, KCR imposed his decision and announced regularisation of all encroachments. He said that the government did not even provide the statistics related to those who illegally possess up to 125 sq yards of land. (INN)
