New Delhi, September 02: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K Chandrashekhar Rao will sit on a fast at Rajghat on Sunday as a mark of protest over the crisis over separate statehood.
The Andhra Pradesh leader is also likely to meet Central leaders in New Delhi.
The Telangana agitation has meanwhile entered its 20th day on Sunday as the government is yet to find a solution for the deadlock over the issue.
On Saturday, the Union government held an all-party meet over the issue. It was attended by Congress’ Andhra Pradesh in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad whose report on the issue was found inconclusive.
Union Defence Minister A K Antony and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee also attended the meeting.
However, the government chose to buy more time over the issue with Azad saying that a second round of consultations would be needed.
