Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s wife Shobha with other family members today had darshan of Lord Venkateshwara here on the auspicious occasion of Mukkoti Ekadashi. The temple officials made all arrangements for KCR family members to attend the special pujas during VIP break darashan. The temple priests also offered Teertha prasadams to Shobha and other members of KCR family.
Earlier, Shobha and family members reached Tirumala on Monday night and the officials concerned gave them a traditional welcome at the temple town. The officials also provided them accommodation with security. It may be said here that KCR promoted his son and former minister KT Rama Rao as TRS working president and Shobha made it to Tirumala for the Lord’s darshan and completed obeisance.
Sizeable number of devotees thronged the Tirumala to have the darshan of Lord Balaji from the north side. The abode of lord Venkateshwara and Mada streets were echoed with chanting name of Govinda Govinda on the occasion. A large number of devotees thronged noted temples in Tirumala, Yadadri, Bhadradri and Vemulawada and others in Telugu states.
