KCR failed to honour no promise: Revanth

Continuing his tirade against ruling TRS government, TDP Telangana working president A Revanth Reddy today alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who had promised 12% reservation to Muslims, failed to keep his word.

Speaking at a function at party office here on Saturday, Revanth Reddy questioned as to why MIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi was not raising his voice against reservation issue as promised by KCR. MIM leader GVG Naidu along with his supporters today joined TDP.

Welcoming the GVG Naidu in the party, Revanth Reddy alleged that while Asaduddin Owaisi was ruling the old city, KCR was doing so in the new city. It was the TDP government which developed Hyderabad city, he asserted.

On the issue of development of Cyberabad city, the TDP leader indirectly referred to erstwhile Nizam stating that the latter developed the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad while Chandrababu Naidu has developed Cyberabad.

Taking a dig at the TRS and Congress, Revanth Reddy said during the TDP regime a huge sports complex was constructed near Gachibowli, which was used for plenary session by Congress while TRS was using it for marriages.

State party president L Ramana, politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, E Peddireddy and other leaders also criticized the functioning of the TRS government. (NSS)
