KCR failed even to prepare 12% quota to Muslims proposal: Kuntia

AICC secretary RC Kuntia here on Saturday claimed that the TRS government has failed to place its proposal of 12% reservation to the Muslims though it came to power 18 months ago.

Several MIM leaders joined the Congress party in the presence of Kuntia at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Kuntia said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s assurance of proving 12% reservation to Muslims within four months after coming to power has miserably failed. He also alleged that KCR has not even prepared a proposal yet though 18 months were over. He called upon the Muslims to extend their support to the secular Congress party, which was only the party protects secularism.

On the other hand, MIM leaders Abdul Nayeem, Manwar Ali, Abdul Khalid, Arshad Bin Omar, Munshad Pasha, Ali Amjad and others about 200 activists joined Congress party under the leadership of Chevella Parliament Constituency leader P Karthika Reddy. (NSS)
