Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has failed in developing the universities in the State.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, VH said he would meet Union Human Resource Development Minister Smrithi Irani and seek release of funds to the Universities of Telangana State. The Congress leader said he addressed letters to the Chief Minister and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao asking them to take up Mission Kakatiya works at Gandipet, Osman Sagar lakes. He asked AICC general secretary in-charge of Congress affairs in the State Digvijay Singh to concentrate on strengthening Congress party. He also asked PCC and CLP to consider the MLAs’ migration to other political parties seriously. (NSS)
