TRS President K. Chandrashekar Rao today called upon the people of Telangana to give a fitting reply to the Congress and TDP parties by electing the TRS in the ensuing elections.
Speaking to the media after performing pooja in the Venkateshwara temple at Koinapally in Medak district before filing his nomination for Medak Lok Sabha seat, KCR lashed out at both Congress and TDP leaders for describing him as a “dora” based on his caste and said that he never behaved like a master or landlord. He always considered himself as a servant of the people and not as their master.
Reminding the people of Telangana that they had witnessed and experiences both the TDP and Congress rule till now, KCR exhorted the people of the new Telangana state to empower the TRS to administer the new state with ability and commitment to make it a model state as promised in the party manifesto. He reiterated that all the promises made in the manifesto would be implemented without fail. “ TRS should atleast get 16 Lok Sabha seats and a majority of Assembly seats in the elections in order to usher in a golden era in Telangana unlike in the past when both the TDP and Congress have only looted the people for their own selfish ends, he observed.
The TRS President further pointed out that he was not after power or position. The credit for achieving the cherished dream of Telangana State was more than enough for him and it would be ever lasting in his life, he observed. Once the TRS forms the government in Telangana state then all steps wouild be taken to ensure that irrigation facility would created to provide water for one crore acres as promised, he stated.
KCR also reiterated that the Telangana and Seemandhra employees should remain in their respective places of work. He lamented that even after achieving their own state of Telangana, the domination of Seemandhra was still persisting.
Accompanied by his family members and also nephew Harish Rao, KCR performed special pooja in the temple and placed the B forms at thje foot of the diety to seek blessing for the success of all the party candidates. He later filed his nomination of Medak Lok Sabha Constituency and also for the Gajwel Assembly constituency. (NSS).
