KCR Encouraging defections: T Cong

Telangana Congress leaders today slammed TRS Chief and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for encouraging defections. A coordination meeting held in Gandhi Bhavan here on the plan to take on the government at the Budget session, congress leaders switching loyalties to TRS and strengthening of the party attended by party chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah, CLP leader K Jana Reddy, D Srinivas and others.
Speaking to media persons later, they alleged that the CM is indulging attracting their party leaders with sops ignoring the plight of farmers and people. The TRS Government instead of focusing on people welfare and resolve power, suicides and other issues, is provoking our leaders to join the TRS fold, they flayed. We will seek disqualification of the leaders joining the TRS they said suggesting that they must resign and inform the party before taking a leap. The TRS if has any moral values should take in the leaders who have resigned to their parent parties, they suggested. When asked they said that they cannot use stick to prevent those leaders leaving the Congress. They refused the comments that the leaders switching loyalties due to lack of leadership in the congress party. If that is the case they must inform us on the loopholes to correct, they added.(NSS
