Alleging that the TRS government has miserably failed to fulfill its assurances, CLP deputy leader T Jeevan Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had colluded with the Centre to betray the Telangana people.
Speaking to the media at the Assembly on Tuesday, Jeevan Reddy alleged that the State government escaped by blaming the Centre without providing remunerative price to the farmers to their crops. Claiming that the TRS was the real betrayer of Telangana movement, Jeevan Reddy called upon the people to bury the Congress party. The people would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS in 2019 elections, he remarked. The Chief Minister colluded with the Centre afraid of CBI cases. The TRS leaders were still constructing buildings in the air, he charged.
Finding fault with the way the Rythu Samanyava Samithi meetings were held, Jeevan Reddy said that the Congress party leaders too Telangana movement leaders if Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy was a movement leader. Not only TRS leaders but also Congress leaders participated in the Telangana movement, he stated. (NSS)
