Lashing out at the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao alleging that the latter was destroying the state, AICC secretary V Hanumantha Rao has averted that the Chief Minister was creating new districts as per ‘Vaasthu’ and not as per ‘Scientific’ manner.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday after releasing the poster of ‘Bathukamma Samburalu at Bathukamma Kunta’, VH said that the Chief Minister granted Gadwal, Janagoan and Sircilla districts for the sake of his son and IT Minister KT Ramarao. Ridiculing the Chief Minister, VH said that the former was reminding the Nizam rule and questioned as to why the Chief Minister was not asking the Centre for funds.
Finding fault with the Chief Minister’s decisions on creation of new districts, VH asked the Chief Minister to tell whether the former was creating new districts scientifically or whenever he gets whatever idea on districts. Making it clear that nothing will happen with the High Power Committee headed by MP K Keshava Rao, VH alleged that the Chief Minister behaved cheaply in the name of new districts. There was no democracy in the state and the Chief Minister was trying to suppress all, he asserted.
Stating that the districts existing were not getting any sort of funds, VH said hat the new districts will face funds crisis. He further alleged that the Chief Minister created differences between the people and destroying the nation.
He said that he was organizing a Bathukamma festival at Bathukamma Kunta on October 7,8 and 9th . He asked the Chief Minister, who released Rs.15 crore for Bathukamma festival, to tell as to why he was not taking care of Bathukamma Kunta. He wondered that Nizamabad MP and Chief Minister’s daughter K Kavitha has become a synonym to Bathukamma. (NSS)
