KCR desperate to join Modi Govt: Shankar Rao

Former Minister Dr P Shankar Rao has alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been desperately trying to join the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre.

Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here on Sunday, Shankar Rao alleged that KCR is trying to get a berth for his daughter K Kavitha in the cabinet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Cautioning KCR against the move, Shankar Rao said Modi has become notorious for downsizing both his opponents and friends. Citing instances, he said Modi has ended the careers of stalwarts like LK Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi within the BJP. Similarly, he aligned with Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and later ignored him. He said KCR’s alliance with Modi would prove suicidal for him. (INN)
