Telangana Telugu Desam leader Revanth Reddy today ridiculed the TRS Government rule for failing to keep the promises.
Addressing a press conference at NTR Bhavan, Reddy criticized that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao came to power on the bodies of Telangana martyrs. On coming to power, KCR gave big posts to his own family members and dumped other leaders who struggled for the TRS, he charged. He warned that the people of Mahabubnagar will not allow the chief minister to visit the district, as he was trying to take away irrigation waters to Warangal by frequently chanting the name of Jurala and Pakala project. KCR did nothing for Palamur during his stint as MP, he alleged.
Terming KCR as a demon he likened KCR to then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, who shifted Pothireddypadu waters to Rayalaseema by dumping Palamur people. Revanth also alleged that KCR is becoming ‘mad’ and should be sent to Erragadda. He flayed KCR’s plans to shift Secretariat to Erragadda and build skyscrapers at the present location. The TD leader alleged that KCR is trying to throw out chenchus (tribals) from Nallamala forest for mining diamonds. Since the TRS lacks efficient leaders, its leadership is encouraging defections, he charged.(NSS)
