KCR dares naidu to move T resolution in Mahanadu

TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao has challenged TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu to move a resolution on separate Telangana State at his party’s annual convention Mahanadu if he was really sincere.

Addressing the party activists at the TRS training program here on Friday, KCR alleged that Chandrababu Naidu’s love for Telangana was mere a drama. Stating that Chandrababu Naidu had taken up walkathon keeping the ensuing elections in view, KCR said the TDP leader was behaving like a cunning fox for the sake of votes.

Alleging that the Centre had failed to respond to the historic 42-day ‘Sakala Janula Samme’ for separate Telangana, the TRS chief said Telangana State could be achieved only through political struggle. Claiming that he had not spared any efforts for Telangana, KCR said time has come again for the Telangana people to show their strength by voluntarily participating in the proposed ‘Chalo Assembly’ rally in very large numbers.

Local MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has called upon the people of the region to wrest Telangana State from the Centre by fighting. He also said achievement of separate Telangana State would only be possible under the leadership of KCR. He also accused the TDP of colluding with the Congress for preventing division of the State.

Alleging that Seemandhra leaders were looting the precious natural resources of Telangana region since Telangana-Andhra merger in 1956, he said he left the TDP after realizing the fact that the Seemandhra political party (TDP) was hostile to separate Telangana.
