KCR creates history by running government with two members in TS cabinet

Hyderabad: In the recent Telangana Assembly Polls, TRS won 88 seats and formed the government in the State. However, only Chief Minister of the State and Home Minister took oath.

Even after two months, KCR did not select other cabinet members thereby running the government with only two members in Telangana State Cabinet.

It may be mentioned that earlier, Mr. NTR had made a record by running the government without cabinet for 17 days.

According to the report published in TOI, TRS legislators also have no information about cabinet expansion.

In the past two months, the cabinet had met only once on 7th January to nominate the Anglo Indian MLA. The meeting which was attended by Mr. KCR and Mr. Mahmood Ali lasted for only a few minutes.

It is also reported that the CM is holding meetings at Pragathi Bhavan to discuss various subjects.

As per the provisions of law, there can be 18 members in TS Cabinet.
