KCR conspiring to delete names of Seemandhra voters: TPCC

TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has alleged that the TRS government was behaving undemocratically by removing the names of Seemandhra voters from the voters list under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Uttam Kumar alleged that the TRS government hatched a conspiracy to remove over 17 lakh voters from the list. He said the Congress would lodge a complaint with the Central Election Commission in this regard and also approach Courts. He also alleged that the TRS government has marked to remove 1.31 lakh votes only in Sanath Nagar Assembly constituency alone. He also expressed doubts saying that irregularities were taking place in the division of wards and reservations allotments.

Finding fault with Election Commissioner Bhanvarlal for personally meeting Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Uttam alleged that Bhanvarlal should not to go to the Chief Minister as an Election Commissioner. He alleged that the removal of voters from the list was taking place under the supervision of GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar.

Sanath Nagar former MLA Marri Shashidhar Reddy said the Central Election Commission was serious about Bhanvarlal. (NSS)
