Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today expressed deep shock at the demise of Dasarathi Rangacharya, a noted poet and author from Telangana.
In a communiqué, KCR stated Dasarathi has inspired through his writings the people on statehood movement and will remain in the history. The Chief Minister stated the poet portrayed the social angle and lifestyles of the poor class through his “Chillara Devullu” book. He also recalled that the poet offered the best of his services for the cause of the society. The Chief Minister conveyed his heart-felt sympathies to the bereaved family members. KCR directed Chief Secretary Dr Rajeev Sharma to conduct the funeral with official honours. (NSS)
