KCR caught a rat by digging a mountain: Congress MLC

Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has questioned Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to tell whether he didn’t need Telangana state. Whether Pawan Kalyan was not in a position to see the submergence of Bhadrachalam areas due to Polavaram project? Whether Pawan Kalyan ‘s Joint Facts-Finding Committee was not in a position to see the assurances given to Telangana state mentioned in bifurcation act?

Speaking to the media at Assembly Media Hall here on Friday along with Telangana Legislative Council opposition leader Mohammed Shabbir Ali, Ponguleti also questioned Nizamabad MP K Kavitha, who chanted Jai Andhra slogan in Parliament, was not in a position to remember the assurances made to Telangana state in division act.

Demanding the state government to extend helping hand to the farmers of Red-Jowar, Turmeric and Chilli, Ponguleti stated that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Delhi tour was similar to catching a rat while digging a mountain. He alleged that KCR failed in getting pending funds from the centres besides failing to pull the centre in regard to Bayyaram Steel Factory and Submergence due to Polaravam Project. KCR was keeping the interests of the state at the hands of the centre, he remarked. (NSS)
