KCR calls on Guv on budget session

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao today called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here.
The meeting assumes importance as the budget sessions-2015 for Telangana Assembly and Andhra Pradesh are slated to begin from May 7. The Chief Minister closeted with the Governor and is learnt to have urged him to address the Assembly on the first day, which is a formality. They are said to have discussed on smooth and fair conduct of the proceedings till March 27.
Ahead of the Assembly session, Telangana Cabinet is slated to be held on March 5 and will discuss on the Governor’s speech and other issues to be taken up in the session. The Governor is said to have opined that the two sessions will be conducted in a smooth manner as the officials were asked to make necessary arrangements. The Governor will have to address the AP Assembly first at about 9 am and Telangana Assembly at 11 am, according to the information. (NSS)
