Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday held a review meeting with the top officials to discuss the ambitious Water Grid project.
During the meeting, attended by senior officials including Panchayat Raj Department Principal Secretary Raymond Peter, the Chief Minister directed officials to give top priority to the implementation of Water Grid project. He reminded them of his resolve not to face the voters in next elections if he fails to provide tapped connection to all households in the State. Therefore, he said all works pertaining to the Water Grid should be executed with great efficiency.
To convey his plans, concerns and strategy for the execution of Water Grid project, the Chief Minister has called for a meeting with all District Collectors and top officials on December 1 (Monday) in the State capital.
