KCR calls on ailing Vidyasagar Rao in hospital

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday called on R Vidyasagar Rao, Advisor to Government (Irrigation), who was undergoing treatment in corporate hospital in the city. The Chief Minister enquired about the health condition of Vidyasagar Rao with the doctors attending on him. He also enquired about the treatment being given to Vidyasagar Rao.

The Chief Minister also spoke with family members of Vidyasagar Rao. Vidyasagar Rao’s wife informed her ailing husband about the presence of the Chief Minister. KCR tried to talk to Rao by calling him Vidyanna, Vidyanna several times. To this, Rao tried to move his limbs and eyes. Doctors attending on Vidyasagar Rao expressed hope that he would recover soon. They also said the ailing Rao was able to breathe on his own when the ventilator support was taken off for some time. The doctors said they were giving treatment on par with the international standards.

The Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction over the treatment being given to Vidyasagar Rao. He also thanked the doctors and wanted them to  put in their all out efforts to help  Vidyasagar Rao recover speedily. He hoped that Vidyasagar Rao would recover soon and lead a normal life.
