Alleging that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao behaving arrogantly with corrupt money, TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy called upon the cadre to wage movement against the state and central governments’ fascist and corrupt policies.
Addressing Youth Congress State Executive meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday, Uttam alleged that the BJP in Centre and TRS in state were trying to control the politics with fascist attitude and with corrupt money. He called upon the Youth Congress to wage a war against the state and central governments from bottom level to create awareness among the youth.
He alleged that the Chief Minister behaved arrogantly by not giving appointment to the Ramreddy Venkat Reddy family members, who tried to request KCR to extend his support in making the Palair bye-election unanimous. He said that the people would teach a fitting lesson to the Chief Minister, who was behaving arrogantly by collecting corrupt money. Uttam suggested the Youth Congress leaders to take up extensive campaign in Palair by-election for the victory of Ramreddy Sucharitha. He advised the Youth Congress leaders to take up campaign in Palair by touching every village in the constituency. The Congress candidate would file nomination papers on April 29 and the campaign would be held from April 29th to May 14. He asked the Youth Congress activists to seek the support of people against the corrupt TRS government. Uttam said that Ramreddy Venkat Reddy won five times as an MLA here and the family will get the sympathy of the people in this election.
Finding fault with the BJP government in the centre, Uttam alleged that the Centre was making baseless allegations against the AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi in the name of Augusta Helicopters. He asked the Youth Congress activists to counter such baseless allegations of the BJP in the Centre.
The meeting was held under the president-ship of Youth Congress state president Anil Kumar Yadav. The Youth Congress state observer Harsha Kumar participated in the meeting. (NSS)
