Governor ESL Narasimhan has invited the TRS LP leader K Chandrasekhar Rao to form the Government in Telangana. A Raj Bhavan communiqué said the swearing in ceremony of K Chandrasekhar Rao as Chief Minister of Telangana State will be held at Raj Bhavan on June 2 at 8.15 am. While congratulating KCR on his election as TRS LP leader, the Governor invited him to form the Government.
It may be mentioned that TRS leader E Rajender and other MLAs called on the Governor on May 18 and handed over him a copy of TRS LP meeting decision which elected KCR as its leader.
The President of India is being addressed separately for revocation of Presidential proclamation in so far as Telangana state is concerned, the communiqué said. (NSS)
