Attributing the Telangana Statehood success to the people and martyrs who fought relentlessly, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today asserted that his fight will not continue for transforming the state into a golden one.
Addressing Dhoom Dham program at Parade Grounds to mark 14th Foundation Day Celebrations of the TRS, KCR vowed to keep every promise to address the needs of the people who are pinning hopes on him. KCR ridiculed his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu for conducting Palamur TD meet which failed to attract public, and creating hurdles to TS and besides failing to implement AP Reorganization Act. Crop loans will be cleared soon despite any problem and constraints, KCR said. The Chief Minister vowed to lay foundation stone for Palamur and Nakkalagandi lift irrigation schemes next month to address the needs.
He reiterated that he will sure cleanse the feet of women with safe drinking water through Water Grid. I will not ask for votes if the TRS Government failed to give waters to every household in the state. Two bed room houses for poor will begin from May and help the poorest he said adding that contract employees will be regularized soon. He also said that one lakh vacant posts will be filled soon besides implementing his dream project of KG to PG on experimental basis from next academic year avoiding castes and religion. He gave pat to Irrigation Minister for his efforts on Mission Kakatiya for giving waters to rural farm sector through lakes restoration. The Government taking every step to overcome power crisis and address all the issues he said.
KCR also criticized that Kamalanathan committee is delaying the bifurcation of the officials leading to inconvenience in governance. Taking potshots at Seemandhra rulers including the Chief Minister K Rosaiah for creating problems on local jobs through 14 f, he alleged that many Seemandhra rulers ridiculed our statehood fight. Unfazed at the ups and downs the movement went on 14 long years and the Centre had to announce Telangana when he tried to kiss ‘death;’ through fast unto death he said. Appealing the people to abstain from giving the state to ‘bad jackals’ he said that he will spend every hour to transform the state into Golden Telangana.
TS Government is spending a whopping Rs 28,000 cr for welfare of the women, poor and deprived class he said adding that he is spending every pie collected from the people KCR said. Hyderabad will be developed into a city like Dallas and Singapore in two to three years. (NSS)
