Promising to resolve the issues of all ex- servicemen in Telangana State, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said the soldiers have served the nation and offered the best services for the cause of people. He announced to increase the monthly honorarium to Rs 6000 from existing Rs 3,000 to those, who participated in Second World War.
During a meeting with a team of ex-servicemen at camp office along with TRS leader Captain Lakshmikantha Rao, DGP Anurag Sharma and others, KCR released a “Bangaru Telangana” a booklet authored by Captain DJ Rao on the occasion and promised to resolve their problems. Asking them to come up with their problems through a six-member committee, KCR announced that the government would give priority to provide housing facility to the poor ex-servicemen in the housing scheme and will felicitate them during Sate Formation Day celebrations next June. He also called upon them to participate in the process of rebuilding the State into a Golden Telangana as their help give confidence to people. KCR also expressed pleasure at their participation in Grama Jyothy conducted at Chinna Mulkanur a few days ago. (NSS)
