Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed officials concerned to complete the proposed buildings for the SCs, Banjaras and Adivasis in Hyderabad on time and as per schedule.
The state government has allotted one acre each for the proposed Babu Jagjivanram (SCs), Komaram Bhim (Adivasis) and Banjara Bhavans. For the Adivasis and Banjara Bhavans, the CM himself has laid the foundation stones and the government also released funds. But some people have filed petitions in the Courts before the starting of the construction of these Bhavans. But the High Court heard the petitions and on Wednesday has allowed the construction of these proposed buildings. Following this, the CM has asked the officials concerned to complete the construction of the buildings faster. He wanted the tenders to be called for these buildings immediately. The proposed buildings should have adequate provisions for these communities to organise their activities.(NSS)
