KCR appeals to Oppn to attend house and Participate in Debate

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said that the government is ready to accept suggestions and constructive criticism from opposition parties. Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, he expressed concern over the opposition parties — Congress and Telugu Desam,  abstaining  from  the house.

The Chief Minister stated that getting power and losing the same is a routine in parliamentary democracy and no party can make deliberate attempts to desist from attending the Assembly proceedings. Reacting on the opposition’s absence,  in protest against KCR’s rhetoric on the opposition for coming in the way of irrigation projects, Mallannasagar and development programs, KCR said that the Congress and others parties should come and join the debate on the issue. ‘Yes, we are ready to debate and discuss the issues extending the house and the opposition has to come and participate in the same’, KCR appealed.  “Please come to the house and participate in the debates and let us collectively develop the state”,  he said.

Speaker S Madhusudhan Chary also appealed to the Congress and other party members who abstained, to attend the house and participate in the debates.(NSS)
