Hyderabad: Mr. KCR expressed his wrath on the people’s representatives and Govt. officials about their non-serious attitude towards Harita Haram programme. He instructed the officials to make this programme success and division and mandal levels. He announced that awards would be given to leaders who show active interest in this programme. These towards would be given to them on the occasion of Independence Day.
It may be mentioned that a few days back, a news item was published in Siasat Daily in which a heap of plants brought from nursery was dumped at the roadside without planting them.
The publication of this report testifies to the fact that Govt. itself is not satisfied about the implementation of Harita Haram programme. On the road on which the saplings were thrown without planting them into the soil is used by many ministers but no one bothered about it.
Mr. KCR also invited the attention of the officials that in Hyderabad city also there are complaints that this programme is not being implemented properly. He told the officials to take more interest in the programme.
