KCR Always Thinks of State Development—Jagdish Reddy

While introducing the resolution on power at the TRS  plenary, Energy Minister G Jagdeesh Reddy said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was always  thinking about  development of the state. Speaking in the TRS party plenary meeting on Wednesday, the Power Minister said that nobody knew when the power comes and when it  goes in the United Andhra Pradesh state. “If power is  shut off for 10 minutes now, it  is a wonder thing in Telangana state”, he said. KCR concentrated on power problem when the Centre made a statement on Telangana in 2009, he said. “KCR has a good vision. We are supplying nine hour power supply to the farmers in day light”, he asserted.

Power Minister further said that the Chief Minister made it clear that he was not t in favour of  burdening  the people by enhancing the power tariff. The Chief Minister has  directed the officials to prepare a ‘Power Plan’ for the coming 40 years and the state was moving in this direction, he added. (NSS)
