Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) [India]: The potential for expanding cooperation between universities in Kazakhstan and India, especially in key subject areas such as IT, management, agriculture and others, is huge said Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to India Bulat Sarsenbayev on Wednesday.
Addressing faculty and students of Coimbatore’s Bharathiar University here, Ambassador Sarsenbayev discussed the expansion of cooperation between the universities of Kazakhstan and India and the possibility of organising mutual visits.
Using interactive materials prepared by his embassy, the envoy spoke about the contribution of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to the development of Kazakhstan, as well as its innovative and industrial strategies and reforms that have enabled Kazakhstan to achieve such impressive successes in a short time.
The Ambassador also engaged in a live interaction with students, answering many questions related to Kazakhstan and its history.
The Kazakh envoy also focused on projects and major events held by Kazakhstan as the ATOM project, the country’s participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as also the forthcoming renewable energy-based exhibition EXPO-2017.
