Kavitha vows to help develop Sikhs in State

The Telangana Government will help develop Sikh community in the State and Hyderabad, TRS MP from Nizamabad K Kavitha has said.

Inaugurating a Dialysis unit at Guru Nanak Medical Center at Gurudwara in Secunderabad here this morning and participated in special prayers on the occasion, Kavitha vowed that she would help the Sikh community develop in the State which supported the statehood movement. Kavitha also said the TRS government declared Guru Nanak Jayanthi as State festival across Telangana and declared a holiday. She also said the government was giving top priority to the health sector. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who was giving top priority for welfare was providing adequate funds to the health facilities to the people in a big way, she claimed.

The Dialysis center will help boost the health services to the needy from across the city, she said.  Kavitha appreciated the Gurudwara Medical Center for extending the best health services at a highly-subsidized and affordable medical care services with state-of-the-art facilities and faculty. The equipment worth Rs 110 lakh was set up at this unit for the purpose through financial assistance of two NGOs, an international service organization and Rotary Club of Hyderabad Deccan, a release said.
