Hyderabad: K. Kavitha, member of legislative council and daughter of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has vowed to make the Hyderabad Cricket Association free from scams and irregular activities.
According to the reports, for the past few months, she was keenly following the developments taking place at the association and wants former players to take charge of the association.
She was disappointed as the appointment of former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin as the president of Hyderabad Cricket Association has not resulted in any significant developments.
TRS party working president and IT minister K.Tarakarama Rao in his recent tweet had requested the IPL organising committee to conduct some matches at Uppal Cricket Stadium but the organising committee didn’t allot even one match for Hyderabad.
