The NRIs across the globe can participate in this unique historical opportunity by making huge investments in these projects which represent a win-win situation both to the NRIs and to the Telangana State”, said Telangana Member of Parliament, Kavitha Kalvakuntla, at a reception organized by prominent business and community leaders, under the leadership of Iftekhar Shareef at his residence in Lincolnwood, Illinois. The event was also graced by the Consul General of India, Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, former Mayor of Cicero city, Ramiro Gonzalez, and US Congressional candidate Raja Krishnamoorthi.
Kavitha stated that the Government of Telengana State has enhanced the social security network, at a staggering pace, in order to take better care of the poor, the needy and the aged.
At the national front, Kavitha pointed out that the relationship between the Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is vibrant, which is paving the way for the multifaceted development of the State. She lauded Narendra Modi profusely for his vision of redefining the federal concept that gives more power to the individual states to govern their destinies.
Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, who welcomed Kavitha, stated that he had the good fortune of meeting her father, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Chief Minister of Telengana State, during his visit to Hyderabad early this year and discussing specific proposals and initiatives.
Host Iftekhar Shareef, a native Telanganite, stated that Telangana Sate has a buoyant market for lucrative investments, especially in the area of the augmentation of solar energy. In his remarks, former Mayor Ramirez Gonzalez said that he looks forward to the opportunity to paying a visit to the Telangana State to advance business relationships in multiple areas.
Later, Raja Krishnamoorthi, US Congressional candidate joined in commending Kavitha and in reiterating the importance of solar energy as a key area of investment and collaboration.
