Kavitha hints at berths for women in KCR Cabinet

Making it clear that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was always a sympathizer of women in the society, Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha has disclosed that the CM was thinking of inducting women in his cabinet in the near future.

Participating in a program organized by Telangana Jagruti in connection with Telangana State Formation Day festival here on Sunday, Kavitha said barring dissatisfaction over delay in the implementation of provisions of AP Reorganisation Act, the TRS government has no disputes with the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre. She urged the Narendra Modi government to extend more cooperation to the Telangana government by taking initiatives on bifurcation of High Court, division of employees, Pranahita-Chevella project and so on.
The Chief Minister’s daughter said statues of Telangana ideologue Prof. Jayashankar Sir will be installed in all the districts of Telangana State under the aegis of Telangana Jagruthi. She also forecast that only TRS flags would flutter in the State in the future on account of monumental developmental programs being taken up by the government. (NSS)
