Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha has compared the Congress leaders with school children who find different excuses to hide their mistakes.
Speaking after distributing insurance cheques among the families of TRS workers at Telangana Bhavan on Monday, Kavitha said that the Congress leaders boycotted Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s power-point presentation in Assembly as they had no knowledge about irrigation projects. She said just like lazy children who find different excuses to bunk school, the Congress leaders avoid facing the Chief Minister on irrigation projects. She alleged that the Congress leaders indulged in huge corruption while executing Pranahita Chevella project in the name of Mobilisation Advance.
Kavitha has challenged Congress leaders for an open debate on irrigation debates. (INN)
