Nizamabad MP and Telangana Jagruthi president K Kavitha informed that Bathukamma festival celebrations would be conducted from September 30 in nine countries. Speaking at a programme to launch Jagruthi App here at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday, Kavitha called upon women to celebrate Bathukamma festival on a grand scale. She appealed Telangana women to participate in the floral festival to promote Telangana culture globally. Stating that the State received record rainfall this year, Kavitha criticized the Opposition parties for politicizing situation arising due to incessant rains. She took potshots at Congress saying that its leaders spare no opportunity to politicizing every issue. They did not even spare rains too, she said.(Photo: Zabi)
