Nizamabad MP and TRS leader K. Kavita said that the TRS was emerging strong in the state and added that the people were impressed with the working of the ruling party.
The TRS MP who was in the district to take in various development programmes, laid foundation stone to the 33/11KV substation at Venkatraopet in Metpally mandal on Tuesday. Over 2,000 activists from other parties join the TRS in the presence of Kavita. The MP welcomed the activists in the party’s fold.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavita said that the leaders of other parties were impressed with the various welfare programmed undertaken by KCR government and were joining the TRS to strengthen the ruling party and its mission of making the state Golden Telangana.
Taking at dig at the TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, the TRS MP said that the Congress leaders were making all out efforts to create hurdles in the development of the state. She accused the party of neglecting farmers during its ten years rule and added that they were trying to blame the TRS for their wrongdoings.
Later in the day, Kavita unveiled the statue of Telangana ideologue Prof. Jayashanker at Mallapur mandal in the district.
Assembly Speaker Madhusudhana Chary, party MLA Vidyasagar Rao, party leaders Dr Sanjay Kumar and others were present. (INN)
