Mumbai, June 18: Katrina Kaif How the time flies! Almost a year has passed since Salman Khan had that ugly spat with Shahrukh Khan on Katrina Kaif’s birthday. This year, the actress is playing safe.
Forget throwing a lavish bash on her birthday, the Cancerian beauty doesn’t even plan to be in Mumbai or India for that matter on her birthday in July. Katrina Kaif would rather be flying to London for a full family reunion with her seven sisters and one brother.
And surprise, surprise, surprise! Beau Salman Khan doesn’t feature anywhere in Kat’s birthday plan so far.
The actress tells a newspaper that she’s been planning her work schedules especially to squeeze out enough time to spend with her siblings on her birthday.
“…All of us eight siblings have not been together in nine years… can you believe it! I really want to do this,” the actress is quoted as saying.
Though she plans to take this break around her birthday, she doesn’t call it a holiday. She calls it “a necessity”.
Honestly, it does appear that Kat has chalked her birthday plan not so much to avoid the repeat of the last year’s disaster when her birthday bash literally became the venue and occasion of an ugly bash involving her beau, but out of a genuine desire to be with her family.
While Salman doesn’t feature in her B-day plan, he might surprise her with an unannounced visit.
