Justice Markandey Katju, former chairman of the Press Council of India, has raised many eyebrows for ‘Kartina Kaif’ remark for which he apologize to those who felt offended by his comments and says that his blog post was “purely in a lighter vein”.
Katju makes a controversial statement by expressing his desire to see Katrina Kaif as the next President of India, with a condition, that she sings Sheela Ki Jawani at her oath taking ceremony.
Several users condemn his statement and others expressed amusement about it.
The retired judge even responded to user’s comment by saying that he found union minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti better looking than the HRD minister Smriti Irani.
