From working with top stars to bagging author-backed roles, Katrina Kaif continues to make her way upwards in Bollywood despite criticism and the actress says her determination is unmatchable.
She will be next seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s “Fitoor”, a modern retelling of Charles Dickens’ “Great Expectations”.
The film, which can be easily termed as one of her most ambitious projects, sees her in the role of a complex protagonist, Firdaus.
When asked what ‘fitoor’ (obsession or madness) is in her mind apart from the film, Katrina said, “I want to be the president of a country. That’s the ‘fitoor’ going on in my mind right now… To take over the world.”
“If I set my mind on something, I make sure I get it. So, let’s see. You never know,” the “Bang Bang!” actress said during her appearance on TV show “Yaar Mera Superstar” while promoting the film.
“Fitoor”, also starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Tabu in lead roles, is slated to release on February 12.
