Mumbai, October 12 : The actress is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful babes we have in Bollywood today but what awes us is her new hotter and fitter avatar. Reshma Kelkar Dabholkar chats up with the actress and gets her to unveil some secrets.
Lara who plays a swimmer in her Diwali release, Blue, had to work hard on her body to look like a swimmer. She says, “I’ve worked hard to get this hot look. It took me almost six months to restructure and tone my entire body. Blue is a film where actors have to look like their characters. I play a swimmer in the film and I wanted to look like one.”
The sexy actress has surely succeeded at her goal. She does look like a swimmer and a sexy one at that. But getting into the water for the many water sequences in the film didn’t come easily to Lara. “I didn’t know how to swim. I had to start from scratch. But in six months time I learnt sea diving,” the actress declares proudly.
Donning a sea diver’s garb, Lara has sported some sexy bikinis in the film. With hot Katrina Kaif and three sexy men – Akshay, Sanjay and Zayed for co-stars, we are sure they turned up the heat on the sets. “There’s only one girl in the film and that’s me. Katrina has just a guest appearance. And being the only girl I was thoroughly spoiled. All were very supporting and excited whenever I performed underwater scenes. They really took good care of me so I had a great time,” says Lara.
We are sure that the actress will be a treat for the eyes for her fans who have high expectations from the film. Lara is also hoping high with Blue and says that the film will always remain special in her career for she got the opportunity to do the kind of scenes and experience the thrill that not many get to do in their lifetime.
