Los Angeles: Kate Winslet may be playing Apple co-founder’s right-hand woman, Joanna Hoffman in “Steve Jobs,” but the actress prefers to keep her children away from the technology for now.
The 40-year-old Oscar winning star finds the dominance of technology scary and wants her kids to go outdoor and play, reported E! online.
“It’s a little scary, I think. We become addicted,” she said.
Winslet, who has 14-year-old daughter MIA followed by son Joe, 11, and youngest 22-month-old son Bear, feels technology has become an important part of our lives.
“At the end of the day, it is a part of how we live. Certainly in terms of education, I think there is so much done on computers these day… I’ve had to sort of relent and accept that.
“I think we have to always be a little careful because they still have to live a life and they still have to climb trees and break their knees and get muddy. That’s important,” she said.
